The goal of this self-initiated project was to improve my vector illustration skills. By following a tutorial and adding my own adjustments, it helped me become more confident in using Illustrator.
This self-initiated project, where I create my own version of the final design, helped me become more comfortable and confident when using Illustrator and the Illustrator tools
The goal of this project was to improve my skills in Adobe Illustrator and become more comfortable and aware of their tools
To develop these skills, I followed a tutorial on how to create character designs in Illustrator. While following the tutorial,
I added my own adjustments to the design to make it my own. The tutorial helped me understand the workflow and tools step by step.
This allowed me to create my own adjustments since I learned the fundamentals, rather than replicating the tutorial.
Through this project, I gained practical experience with Illustrator tools. In addition, I learned useful shortcuts that
improved my efficiency when working in Illustrator such as M for the rectangle tool, N for the pencil tool, and P for the pen tool.
I also learned how to manage layering more effectively.
